6 months strong

I had to do a double take, since it didn’t seem to be real at first, but Asis is going to be going on six months of updates with the start the new February updates. Wow.

Going strong behind the scenes too, I have up to page fifty fully penciled and ready to color, this puts me just shy of having the prolouge halfway done.

Thanks for all the support, donations, and general encouragement.

October Updates ho!

I have four new pages already to go for October’s update,  actually more like eight pages, but I’m going to hoard the spill over for a November backlog. New updates will start on the first of each month, and continue for three to five days. You can keep track of the comic via the RSS feed, or on The Belfry and Piperka.

You may have noticed I redid the page layout, it loads much faster now, so less server side strain, and easier on those with dial up. Plus the navigation and useful quick links are much more organized now.

So what webcomics do I read when I’m not making my own? Here’s a few I follow:

Kagerou – Very nicely done fantasy comic.  Don’t let the start fool you, it’s pretty dark.

Inhuman – One of few Scifi comics I read weekly. Vast and very well fleshed out world setting that will pull you in.

Castle of Cards – Life, death and monsters. Uniquely hand drawn art.

Prydwen – Off to a roaring start, high fantasy with some class done by an awesome friend.

Inscribing Adri – Brand new, but already with loads of character charm and potential.

Asis officially going live

Shock. Awe. Luke warm emotions.

I’ve been hoarding these pages for the all of August, and as you can see posting one a day. This will continue until I hit 21, at which I will have to slow down until I finish up the last of the current pages I have penciled. From there? It is a mystery.

Asis is not my main comic. So we have some ground rules I need to set with this young, fledgling here. Updates will be sporadic, as I’m spending a lot of time both in planning, penciling and digitally coloring each page. I’m hoping to keep a monthly upload of 3-5 pages.

With this monthly ques, I’m able to keep a comfortable backlog of pages, to appease donations towards faster updates.

PS: My main webcomic is here: , it updates twice a week.
