It makes me so sad knowing she kicked sorit out. Sorit clearly has some heave depression and feels hopeless and without a purpose to give himself to he doesnt know what to do.
I have to give a reply to this, as you really hit on something I’ve been writing in this comic. Sorit is very much a character who deals with depression; Thornhide is someone that’s build up from nothing on her own. Neither of them really can communicate these personal stories, but they both care about each other despite coming off as abrasive when trying to connect. Their interactions here might not be the most supportive, but they both have a lot of room to grow as people..
