Reader Questions: Day 5

Dragons are strange, and very random throw backs that pops up in any Second Race population from time to time, usually for every 1,000 born, one will be born with these variations. This would be a bit similar to the idea of humans to early primates. While keeping the basic traits of their natural parents, Dragon variations have a more stocky, basic build with little to no markings, and always have some almost reptile like feature such as plated scales, beaks, or horns. While these traits seem strange and not something that would occur in mammals, they are usually keratin based much like the plating in an armadillo, or pangolin rather than actual scales or horns. This is most likely where the term Dragon is referenced from in regard to this natural variations. Langley is a Sessiri Second Race Dragon, and one of the more common variations, so common they have enough unrelated population to have their own children now. Also featured in the comic post today, the second most common Dragon type, a scaled Rasha Second Race Dragon., these guys are still too rare to pick up their own population, but who knows they might there..
