Janus is not the most stable, or rational person, the warning signs are pretty obvious. However Five in her desperate need to relate to someone else, glossed over most of them, until about now.

Even if Janus were not mentally ill, I still think he is a thug and an ass-hat. Five looks downright saintly next to him.

She should of seen it coming. I cant say she deserved it, but she is being kind of stupid if she didnt realize it after Janus killed the dog, and stabbed her in the mental hospital, a few more times.
