I lived in Ellensburg, the city which Mel’s Hole is supposed to be located near. Never heard of it until I read your comic. Just thought you might find it interesting to note that Ellensburg is also home to one of the most supposedly haunted buildings in the state of Washington, Kamola Hall. It’s a dorm at Central Washington University where a young woman hung herself during WWI after receiving word that her fiance had been killed in the war (which, if I remember correctly turned out to be not true). I actually lived there my freshman year, and I can’t say I had any paranormal experiences other than hearing some thumping noises coming from a corner of my room that those noises shouldn’t have been coming from. Maybe it was my neighbor gettin’ busy, maybe not.
Anyway, I loooooove the comic so far and I look forward to seeing where it goes from here!
