Langley

Appearance:

Standing just slightly taller than an average human when on fours, Langley is not particularly standoutish in appearance. With short fur in a dusty sand coloration, reflective orange eyes, and no distinct markings, he's built for desert camouflage. His heritage likely originating from Sessiri stock, the natural alterations present in all dragons? manifest in the form of a hard beak like upper jaw, and a stockier build ideal for four legged travel. The rest of his traits fit with the Second Race foundation, large swivel ears, stiff tail for balance, along with greater flexibility.

Personality:

Langley doesn't hide his mood, if he's unhappy, he lets it be known. Which is most of the time. Gruff, crude, and uncaring about how his bluntness reflects on him, he's very self centered on just about every topic. Motivated by food, and a safe place to sleep, Langley approached life from a much more simplistic stance, having grown up living in the wilds, away from even the basics of modern society. Despite his feral attitudes, he is very protective of Skai, treating her vastly different than the rest of the people he comes into contact with.

Creation Notes:

Skai and Langley both started out as very early characters in the story's creation, but remained a team of rough edged desert travelers. Langley's design originally had him drawn as a full avian creature, with feathered crest instead of ears.

Langley, and his traveling partner, Essex got their names from streets around New England.
